Bocca di Lido
The MOSE Project  - Integrated Mobile Dam System -  envisions the construction of 2 rows of submerged sluice gates: one on the Treporti Canal  with 21 sluice gates  and one on the San Nicolò Canal with 20 sluice gates. These two rows are connected by a manmade island that also holds the control buildings and gate operation systems.

Treporti North Side
The construction of a calm-water port  formed of 2 basins  (erection of embankments for linkage to the mainland and to a breakwater along the Canale di Bocca) connected to a deep water basin  (erection of embankments and walls for the locks required or watercraft transit).

Canali di Bocca and Nuova Isola
The Treporti Canal and the San Nicolò Canal on the section of the bottom of the canal on both its sea side and the lagoon side where the row of sluice gates will be installed with protection provided by a transition layer in geotextile net and another layer in rock. The new island will consist in an embankment delineated  by a breakwater with banks facing Treporti and San Nocolò destined to house one of the abutments for a row of sluice gates. Next to the island  on the lagoon side a deep water canal will be created for linkage between Treporti and San Nicolò when the gates are closed.

San Nicolò South side
Upgrading of the embankment: these works consist in the consolidation of the initial section of the wharf (near the area in which the row of sluice gates will be inserted) through the construction of a new breakwater running parallel to the existing one and the filling of the space in between. The works will have a total length of 1300 m. Abutment from the row of sluice gates: these works will consist in the construction of the structural part using prefabricated elements.

Malamocco
The MOSE Project  - Integrated Mobile Dam System -  envisions the construction of 1 row of 19 submerged sluice gates.

Malamocco North side
Abutment - these works consist in the consolidation of an existing l section of the wharf and the preparations required for the embankment wall  on the mainland side. Canale di Bocca, sluice gate row area: these works consist in the preparations required for the housing of  the row of sluice gates and the preparation of the sea bottom, which requires the protection of the sections adjacent to the area in  which the row of sluice gates will be installed. Abutment  - the works for the creation of the abutment required for the row of sluice gates  consist in the preparation of the areas in which the control buildings and sluice gate operation systems will be positioned. Upgrading of the bank near the deep water basin: consolidation of the embankment near Fort San Pietro (restoration of the Fort’s walls  and reinforcement of the current breakwater protections).

Section of sea in front of harbour entrance – Breakwater: the breakwater will be built in boulders and artificial wave breaking structures outside the harbour entrance to a total length of 1280 m with a summit height of 3 in some areas and 4 m in others.

CHIOGGIA  
The MOSE Project  - Integrated Mobile Dam System -  envisions the construction of 1 row of 18 submerged sluice gates.

Ca’ Roman North side
Calm water basin and deep water basin: calm water port will consist of two basins, one on the sea side and the other on the lagoon side connected by a double deep water basin. Abutments: the works consist in the erection of embankments required for linkage between the row of sluice gates  and the calm water port’s deep water basin.

Canale di Bocca
Sluice gate row area – these interventions consist in protecting the bottom  of the Canal di Bocca next to the row of sluice gates.

Breakwater – the breakwater consisting of boulders and man-made wave breaking structures was laid outside the harbour entrance to a total length of 520 m with a summit height of 2.5 m
